The Senior Link at FBC-H
Information for Senior Adults
If you are 55 years old or over, or, if you are a friend of someone
in this group, you are invited to participate in all our Senior
activities. We have Sunday School for everyone in this age group every
Sunday morning at either 9 o'clock or at 10:30. We have social
activities for this age group scheduled as follows:
On the first
Tuesday in each month we meet at 9 a. m. for breakfast at the Acropolis
in Cornelius.
On the second Tuesday in each month we sing with
residents at the Oaks at 10 a. m.
On the third Tuesday we meet
for a luncheon in the church dining room at 11:30 a. m. Occasionally on
this date we meet for lunch at another place such as Tally House in
Troutman or K & W in Cornelius.
For the fourth Tuesday we are
considering some new plans. These will be announced soon.
Special
events, such as our trip on the 14th of September to see a tribute to
the music of John Denver, are planned from time to time.
