Rev. Tina Burleson - Associate Pastor of Discipleship PDF Print E-mail

Tina Burleson is a native of Charlotte, NC.  She has completed a BA in Religion from Gardner-Webb University, a Master of Arts in Christian Education from Southeastern Seminary and a Master of Divinity from Gardner-Webb School of Divinity.

At FBC-H, Tina focuses on the spiritual formation of adults and children. This includes Sunday morning Bible study to education through concentrated topical studies.

Impacted by happy childhood memories of time spent at church, Tina has especially felt a call from God to love, nurture and disciple children. It is her passion, that children are valued in the same way as they were by Jesus Christ.

Her desire to meet the spiritual needs of children is evident in her partnering with parents to encourage discipleship within their own families, as well as training and support of teachers working with children on a weekly basis. Modeling the love of Jesus to each child who participates at church is a top priority.
