Student Ministry

Our earnest desire at First Baptist Church of Huntersville is to see today’s youth experience the risen savior, fall in love with Jesus, and have this relationship impact their lives and the lives they influence.

We do this by loving teenagers throughout their discovery of God and helping them find their own unique way of living out their faith.

Ministries include weekly small groups, Bible Study, inter-generational music opportunities (choir and handbells), mission trips, retreats, summer camps, home fellowships, and more.  The youth ministry is made up of 6th grade to 12th grade students.

Sunday Mornings:

9:45 a.m. – Youth Bible Study (DC rooms 203/204)

11:00 a.m. – Inter-generational Worship (in English – Sanctuary)

11:00 a.m. – Latino Worship (in Spanish – DC Auditorium)

Contact Luke Nowell at lnowell@fbc-h.org for information on special youth events.

Students – sign up to be in a Bridge Group, FBC’s new small group ministry! These groups are designed to build bridges across generations. Bridge Groups include students (youth in grades 6-12) and adults. We have a lot to learn from each other! We will study the Bible together and do hands-on service projects together.  Email churchoffice@fbc-h.org to sign up. Wednesday night groups will meet 6:00 – 7:30 pm January 19 – March 30, 2022  (except March 2, which is Ash Wednesday). Sunday afternoon groups will meet 4:00 – 5:30 pm January 23 – March 27, 2022.

All adult volunteers have a heart for ministry to youth. They have attended FBC-H for at least 6 months & submitted to background checks.
